It is usually a long-awaited event for people who love to learn about various products offered by several countries, and likewise, Al Tadamun Microfinance Foundation’s female clients longed passionately for the opening of Cairo International Fair (CIF) 2016 to uncover the finest of their products to the public.
In 49th round, 15 of Al Tadamun’s clients managed to participate in the period from March 16 to 26 this year. Where Al Tadamun presented to its clients a decent space in order to give them the opportunity to sell their products, which included handicrafts, perfumes, accessories, clothes, leather bags, handmade rugs, toys, lingerie, bedsheets and other products. Each client had three to four days in a row to sell her products.
Having clients praised the benefits of their first-time participation last year, Al Tadamun was keen to repeat its participating for the second time this year; because of the fair’s excellent opportunities to market products and clients’ ability to increase their incomes and expand the network of their consumers.
Cairo International Fair is considered the most famous and prestigious international fairs in the Middle East and Africa region, which was held at the fairgrounds area in Nasr City. About 300 Egyptian companies participated in this year’s round, besides the sections for 12 countries: Kuwait, Indonesia, Sudan, Pakistan, Kenya, Lebanon, Togo, Sri Lanka, Algeria, China, Iraq and India as a guest of honor. The fair was opened by H.E Prime Minister Sherif Ismail and attended by nearly 250 thousand visitors.
