As part of its mission to conduct a research study on SME women and their interaction with banks and microfinance institutions, the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, in collaboration with the French Development Agency (AFD), organized focus group discussions with many clients of microfinance institutions in Egypt. As part of this
endeavor, they have chosen Al Tadamun Microfinance Foundation as an established institution in this field.
Al Marg Al Qadima branch received Ms. Miranda Bishara, who led the focus group discussion with eleven clients, on December 5, 2018. The aim of the group was to discuss women’s needs for financial and non-financial products for microenterprises and to analyze the main obstacles and barriers faced by women entrepreneurs access to funding.
At the end of the discussion, Ms. Miranda Bishara expressed her gratitude to the branch staff for the good organization of the session as well as the quality and the richness of the ideas proposed by the clients.
