Al Tadamun Microfinance Foundation organized the opening ceremony of the new headquarters and added to the ceremony the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Mona Zulfikar and members of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Essam Al-Adawi, in addition to a group of press and media men who are an integral part of the Al-Tadamun.
The ceremony began with a speech by Ms. Reham Farouk, CEO of Al Tadamun, who spoke about the challenges that Al Tadamun faced during covid 19 pandemic, Reham said: “Al Tadamun’s flexible policy and efforts in repayment enabled it to respond to the crisis, and it also works as a supporter of the economic stumble of clients.”
Dr. Mona also gave a speech in which she expressed her happiness with Al Tadamun achievements despite all the circumstances during the previous period. She also praised the efforts of the Egyptian government, saying: “The state’s move to spread the concepts of financial inclusion and digitization of financial services is one of the main factors in crossing the national economy to safety.”
A number of employees who achieved scientific achievement during the past years were honored, in addition to honoring the employees of 2019, 2020, 2021 for their outstanding performance during the past period, as well as the distribution of Zulfiqar financial awards to the distinguished clients and employees of Al Tadamun during those years.
Dr. Mona Zulficar was honored and praised for the tremendous efforts she made to support and empower Egyptian women through the social responsibility provided by Al Tadamun Microfinance Foundation, and the former member of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Sameh Makram Ebeid, was honored for his dedication in supporting Al Tadamun for 15 years. As well as honoring the CEO of Al Tadamun, Ms. Reham Farouk, who did not compromise in advancing the wheel of work and achievement during 22 years of hard and fruitful efforts to achieve the vision, mission and goals of Al Tadamun Microfinance Foundation.
It is worth noting that Al Tadamun Microfinance Foundation has provided its services to more than 1.6 million clients since its inception, in order to increase the income of women owners of micro-enterprises by providing diverse and sustainable financial services that suit their needs to improve their standard of living, and this is done through the work of more than 2,000 employees in 100 Branch, with 14 governorates spread in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
